Now this should be interesting!

It’s official, a celebrity version of The Traitors is coming to BBC.

The reality TV show has become hugely popular in the last few years, with the second season taking place at the start of this year and raking in millions of viewers for the BBC.

If you aren't familiar with The Traitors, it's unlike any reality show you've watched before.

The Traitors brings together a group of 12 strangers who are pitted against each other for a grand cash prize. The majority of the group are 'Faithfuls' but others are secretly chosen as 'Traitors' who can 'murder' their fellow contestants. The Faithfuls must figure out who the Traitors are, and 'banish' them in order to make it to the end and get their hands on that grand prize.

Now that we have official confirmation that a celebrity version is in the works, speculation has begun on what famous faces are going to be involved.

One name that has been thrown around for a while now is Friends star Courtney Cox, who is a known fan of the show and even starred in a teaser clip for the show with Claudia Winkleman.

Another name rumoured to be taking part is Jonathan Ross, which, if true, will be the broadcasters first return to the BBC since he dramatically quit 14 years ago following the Andrew Sachs scandal.

Other names being thrown into the ring are former prime minister Liz Truss and comedian Kathy Burke.

Don’t panic if you’re a fan of the classic Traitors that just features regular people like you me in its line-up. The third season of the “civilian” The Traitors has already been filmed and is set to air early next year.

We’re buzzing already!
