This news might help ease your Monday blues. The BBC has confirmed that 'Blue Planet' is getting a sequel.
The legendary Sir David Attenborough is returning to present 'Blue Planet II'. The seven part series, which will premiere later this year, aims to highlight recent scientific discoveries.
The show is set to explore new landscapes from methane volcanoes in the Gulf of Mexico and was filmed using submarines.
Speaking about the announcement, Sir David said:
"I am truly thrilled to be joining this new exploration of the underwater worlds which cover most of our planet, yet are still its least known."
The Blue Planet was watched by more than 12 million people in 2001.
