Alison Hammond has issued a thank you to fans of The Great British Bake Off after she got an overwhelmingly positive response to her presenting debut on the show last night.

The popular competition for baking amateurs returned last night for its 14th series, with Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith reprising their roles as the judges.
Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas have been presenting the show since 2020, however after the last series aired, Matt Lucas announced he was stepping down as presenter.
And it seems they found the perfect replacement as viewers of the show are loving Alison Hammond.
