Amy Huberman is returning to TV in a major new RTE show, which is already being dubbed the Irish version of The Good Wife. Cheaters is a legal drama from Blinder Films, the team behind Panti documentary The Queen of Ireland.

Amy will star as Tara, a solicitor who sets up her own firm after catching her fiance and fellow legal eagle, Eric, having an affair. His character is played by Rory Keenan from Peaky Blinders.

Filming will begin in the coming weeks, but it's not yet known when exactly it will hit our screens. Katie Holly of Blinder Films says she's "excited to finally announce our first drama series for RTE. Really thrilled to be working with such a brilliant director, amazing co-producer and team of writers, and terrific cast & crew. Roll on the summer!"

The production team includes Yvonne Donohoe, who's worked on Rapt, Raw, New Zealand series The Cult and the 2007 movie Garage starring Pat Shortt.
