Our very own Brian Dowling is after landing himself an exciting new TV gig!
He'll be the host of a brand new exciting home makeover show called The Salvage Squad.
Speaking live on 98FM, Brian talked about how excited he was to work on this show.
"The truth is when I was asked to host a show about sustainability, I wasn't sure if I was the right fit."
"When it comes to clothes, I would be good at sustainability in the way that I would really invest in clothing, especially bags, coats and shoes - things that you get years out of."
"But when it comes to furniture and the home, I wasn’t as sustainable. Because I used to always think everything had to be brand-new."
When asked what people could learn from watching the show, Brian had this to say.
"I think the difference with this home makeover show is that we have the sustainability element, we have the pre-loved element, the upcycle element."
"We're always hearing about climate change and hearing how important that is. And being a dad to a little girl, I'm more aware of that no was well."
"So when people tune in they can expect fun, but also a little bit of education!"
