Trinity College has ranked in 108th place in the 2020 QS World University Rankings.
All 8 Irish institutions made the top 800, but despite slipping from 104th, Trinity is still Ireland's top university.
UCD followed them placing at 185th, along with NUI Galway at 259th, and UCC at 310th.
DCU sits at 429th place, followed by University of Limerick, Maynooth University and Dublin Institute of Technology.

The top three Universities worldwide are Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Harvard University.
