Three men have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Lucan last year.
A man in his 40s was hit a number of times through the windscreen as he sat in his car at Griffeen Glen Park on September 4th.
He managed to flee to a nearby house and survived the attack.
An operation yesterday evening, involving Gardaí and members of the Emergency Response Unit, resulted in the arrest of the three men.
One was taken to Lucan Garda Station, while the other two were detained at the station in Ronanstown.
All three were charged in connection with the shooting.
They are due before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.
