Three men are in custody after a car failed to stop at a Covid-19 checkpoint in north Dublin.
It happened in the Swords area at around 4.35pm yesterday afternoon.
It resulted in a car chase involving Gardaí.
The vehicle was stopped a short time later on the northbound lanes of the R132, north of Dundalk in County Louth.
An official Garda car was damaged but no one was injured during the incident.
Three men in their 30s were arrested.
They are being questioned at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
