Nearly 73,000 Vodafone customers are to get a refund after an investigation into its pay as you go offers.
The regulator, ComReg, found the company didn't comply with customer information requirements between September 2016 and March 2018.
Customers who topped up their accounts by the monthly tariff price of €20 or €30 did not know it would result in their accounts being reset, meaning they would lose their allowances.
72,774 people are to be refunded, totalling €416,000.

The company also says it will amend the text message sent to customers that top up to tell them that their offer has been reset.
