Thousands of parcels destined for Ireland ahead of Christmas have been left stuck in Holyhead.
Retailers and delivery firms are working with ferry companies to find other routes while the Welsh port stays closed after suffering storm damage. But it could be next week before services are restored there.
An Post says its backlog of half a million packages has been cut to just 150,000 in the past day through re-routing.

Hauliers have been using alternate routes through Pembroke, Liverpool and Stranraer to get deliveries through.
The postal company says it will provide daily updates to customers regarding the Holyhead Port Closure and its impact on parcel freight into Ireland.
