Dublin's Good Times
A Dublin favourite for dim sum is opening its second location in Temple Bar.
Lucky Tortoise will be open at Adsills Row, every day from 5pm to 11pm.
Well established on Aungier Street, Lucky Tortoise won fans for its modern Dim Sum, made fresh and served family style.
Owner John Ennis and Head Chef Stephen Ryan have created a menu that is strongly influenced by Cantonese cuisine with accents of Japanese and Korean flavours too.
Head Chef Stephen Ryan, formerly of Doolally and Locks, said: “Dim Sum translates as ‘touch heart’ and that is what we hope to do with every dish we serve.
"This is an exciting opportunity to invite new guests to our tables and entertain them with great food and an atmosphere to match.
"We want to be inclusive, so by making our own Dim Sum we can cater for Vegans and Coeliacs too.”
Lucky Tortoise is best enjoyed with the ‘All In Menu’ which features all the dishes on the menu, served family style, priced €28 per person - check it out below:
- Miso Soup
- Banchan
- Jasmine Rice
- Okonomiyaki
- Chive & Scallion Pajeon
- Panchetta Potstickers
- Pork Sui Mai
- Roast Sweet Potato & Miso Dumpling
- Sichuan Aubergine & Sesame Dumpling
- Silken Tofu
Lucky Tortoise opens Thursday April 28th at 17b Adsills Row, Temple Bar from 5PM.
