A teenage boy's being treated in hospital after being allegedly attacked in the city centre.
The alleged assault happened near City Quay at around half past 9 last night.
He's been brought to the Mater Hospital to receive treatment, where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Gardai are investigating and say no arrests have been made.
