This could be the most chaotic series of Big Brother yet!
It's being reported that the Big Brother reboot (which we should be getting an official start date any day now 👀) is planning to loosen up this years housemates by 'relaxing the rules' around alcohol and smoking.
A source told The Mirror: "The booze used to flow in Big Brother, but obviously times have changed a lot since it was last on air."
"There are certainly going to be going to be stricter welfare measures in place than in previous iterations, but bosses are confident they won’t have to stick to the same rules as Love Islanders have to."
Over the last few series of Love Island, the production has tightened the rules on alcohol consumption under a duty of care act to the contestants.
Now that Big Brother is moving from Channel 4 to ITV, it might have seemed that they'd bring those same rules over, but apparently not!
A source close to ITV said: “Alcohol protocol is still being finalised, and will be closely monitored”.
What are the chances we'll get anything like Fight Night back in 2004?
Big Brother will be returning to our screens next month and here in Ireland we'll be able to watch on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player 📺
