Met Eireann says temperatures could reach 16 degrees on Saturday.
It's reported an area of high pressure is feeding up right from the Mediterranean and bringing up some mild air.
On Friday, it will be mild and breezy. The forecaster says it will be damp for a time, but drier in the afternoon and evening, with some bright or sunny spells breaking through the clouds in places.
Highs of 12 to 14 C. Very mild overnight and mainly dry with lows of 8 to 10 C.
On Saturday, we can expect breezy conditions with fresh and gusty southerly winds. Some sunny spells too, best in the eastern half of the country with highs of 13 to 16 C.
We won't avoid the rain though, there will be some damp conditions about too.
