A teenage boy has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a woman in Dublin city last year.
The boy, who can't be named because of his age, pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter, but denies murder.
This afternoon, the boy pleaded not guilty to murdering Urantsetseg Tserendorj at the walkway between St George’s Dock and Custom House Quay in Dublin city on a date in January of last year, but guilty to her manslaughter.
He also pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted robbery and he admitted producing a knife on the same date at the same location.

A jury was then sworn in to consider the murder allegation.
They were told there is a list of 22 potential prosecution witnesses, including the deceased woman’s husband, a taxi driver, Gardai and medical personnel and they warned not to sit on the jury if they knew anyone involved.
The trial, which is expected to take up to 8 days, is due to open on Wednesday.
