An investigation has been launched after a teenage girl was assaulted today.
She was attacked by a teenage boy in the Ballyfermot area this afternoon.
The girl has been taken to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The boy was arrested and taken to Clondalkin Garda Station.
