A teenage boy has been hospitalised after being stabbed in the city centre last night.
It happened during a brawl between two groups.
Shortly after 7:30pm yesterday evening a number of garda units responded to a public order incident on the Samuel Beckett Bridge.
Two groups of teenagers gathered near the Convention Centre for what is believed to be a rival gang clash.
One boy in his mid-teens suffered flesh wounds and was taken to the Mater Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have yet been made but gardaí say Enquiries are ongoing.
