A 14-year-old boy has appeared in court in connection with a serious assault in Dublin city centre.
A woman in her late 40s was stabbed on a walkway between George's Dock and Custom House Quay on Wednesday night.
She was taken to the Mater Hospital in a serious condition.
A teenager was arrested shortly after the attack and charged with assault causing harm, possession of a knife and attempted robbery.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Children's Court on January 27th.
