A teenage boy is in hospital after being assaulted by a group of people in Finglas last night.
The incident happened shortly after 10pm, and the victim was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital.
Gardai say his injuries are not believed to be life threatening and the investigation is continuing.
A Garda spokesperson says: "Shortly after 10.00pm, Gardaí received report that a male teenager was assaulted by a group. The teenager was taken to Children’s Health Ireland Hospital at Temple Street. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
"Investigations are ongoing."
