A 19-year-old boy has appeared in court charged in connection with the robbery of a service station in Dublin last night.
At about 8.30pm, two teenagers are alleged to have stolen a sum of cash and some other items after holding staff up with a fake gun and a hammer.
Derek Farrell, of Fortlawn Avenue, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, is facing two charges: robbery and criminal damage.
He was granted bail today as he awaits a decision on how his case should proceed.
A teenage girl who was also arrested as part of the investigation has been released pending referral to the Youth Diversion Programme.
