The development of a new stand at Tallaght Stadium in Dublin has been given the go-ahead.
The total capacity will increase to 10,500 people, which will allow it to hold more games and attract concerts to the venue.

Local Green Party Councillor, Liam Sinclair, says it should be complete by 2022:
"It means for the stadium that its up to UEFA category four, which means it can hold any European games there including Champions League."
"It also makes it more accessible for concerts and festivals so we'll be actively trying to get more of that sort of event happening in this venue."
