Tallaght University Hospital will recruit 300 staff over the next year as part of an expansion programme.
Last year the hospital opened two new units on time as well as a new day surgery centre.
The recruitment of 300 staff in Tallaght University Hospital will take place over the next 12 to 18 months.
They will be looking to hire nursing, medical, health and social care professionals and administrative staff.
Chief Executive Lucy Nugent says despite the pandemic the hospital was able to expand its services throughout 2020.
However the facility saw a 32% reduction in surgeries and procedures.
The hospital is also in the process of constructing an extension to its ICU which will create an additional 12 critical care beds.
