Tallaght fire crews were called to a house fire overnight after reports of a jeep crashing into the building.
Photos posted online show the back of the vehicle went through the sitting room wall.
It happened on Grange View Road in Clondalkin shortly after midnight.

Four fire engines from Tallaght were involved in tackling the blaze. They also stopped it from spreading to adjoining homes.
No one was injured in the fire but significant damage has been caused to the property.
Gardaí have launched an investigation and are treating it as an incident of criminal damage by fire.
