Students' unions are coming together today to ask the people of Dublin to open their homes to college goers.
The Dublin Students' Digs Drive has been taking place at Connolly Station from 7am to 10am and will run again from 5pm to 7pm at Pearse and Tara Stations.
Union members are handing out leaflets encouraging Dublin residents to take in a student for the upcoming school year.
Those willing to do so can earn up to €14,000 a year tax free.
Union representatives have described the lack of accommodation in the city as a chronic problem for those going to college here and say it dramatically impacts on their college experience.
