Coming soon
Netflix's Stranger Things returns for season four in May and will end with season five.
Creators Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed the fourth season will be released in two parts, with the fifth season acting as the hit coming-of-age series curtain call.
In an open letter to fans, the Duffer Brothers wrote that there are still "many more exciting stories to tell" within the universe, but that filming season four was their biggest challenge yet.
After filming the season over two years, they made the decision to split its release and finish the franchise on a high with season five.

The official description for Stranger Things 4 reads: “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins.
"Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier.
"In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
Stranger Things season four Vol. 1 arrives on Netflix May 27th followed by Vol. 2 on July 1st. Seasons one-three are available to stream now.
