A community initiative aims to tackle the litter problem in the country's worst litter blackspot in Ballymun.
Students from Trinity Comprehensive School and Dublin City Council are working to improve the area's reputation by organising a clean-up.
6th year student, Ariana, wants people to be proud of their area again:
He says "the whole idea is to go out and make people proud of Ballymun, go and plant flowers, go and paint walls, go and like make things for kids, like you know putting fairy doors on trees, we're rebuilding benches, we're putting hop scotch on the ground, it's to make people proud to live in Ballymun".
