Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has finally been shown in detail, giving us a glimpse of the first story-based Star Wars game in a long, long time.
We get a look at Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, one of the few Jedi to survive Order 66, which saw the Clone Army turn on the Jedi at the orders of Emperor Palpatine during Revenge of the Sith.
Keen viewers will notice that the main character, Cal Kestis is played by Cameron Monaghan of Gotham and US Shameless-fame.
The story takes place after Order 66 as the Empire sends Inquisitors to hunt down any remaining Jedi (they obviously didn’t get Obi-Wan or Yoda).
In a pleasant change from the previous Star Wars game to come from EA, Battlefront 2, the publisher has stated there’ll be no loot boxes or microtransactions in Fallen Order.
While this is good to hear, it’s sad that publishers have become so greedy with loot boxes and microtransactions that this even needed to be said.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launches November 15, 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
