The Stepaside St. Patrick's Day Parade has been cancelled.
The decision's been taken by organisers in the South Dublin village because of the coronavirus.
It's after locals raised concerns over the event going ahead.
Glencullen/ Sandyford Councillor Lettie McCarthy who's on the committee says it's a precautionary step:
"We've decided just earlier this afternoon to cancel it because we don't want to put anybody on, you know in unnecessary risk situation so it's purely as a precautionary measure that we decided to cancel it. Our parade does attract over 17 thousand people each year. It's a lot of people to have in close proximity".
