Simon Zebo and Craig Gilroy have been called up to the extended Irish squad ahead of the six nations campaign by Joe Schmidt.
Both players had memorable weekends as they secured home quarter finals in the Heineken Cup for Munster and Ulster respectively.
And things got even better today, as bot were given the nod from Schmidt.
Tommy Bowe is still struggling with injury, and isn't expected to be fit for the opening two games, and Keith Earls is also a doubt after picking up a knee injury in Munsters win over Edinburgh yesterday.
So cover for the back line was expected.
