Marc Wilson and Glenn Whelan are out of the Irish squad for Friday's Euro 2016 clash between Scotland and Ireland.
There's also a big question mark over James McCarthy's participation although the midfielder is included.
Wilson has a torn hamstring while Whelan is still recovering from a bone fracture and are left out of Martin O'Neill's final 27-man squad.
McCarthy's hamstring will be assessed when the Everton man joins up with the rest of the squad ahead of the big match preparation in Malahide.
There's also two surprise inclusions in Derby defender Cyrus Christie and Ipswich striker David McGoldrick who both got their Irish passports last week.
Sheffield Wednesday Kieren Westwood also misses out through injury while Hull City full back Brian Lenihan is included in the Irish under-21 squad.
The rest of the players left out of the final squad are; Stephen Kelly, Paul McShane, Damien Delaney, Shane Duffy, Paul Green, Simon Cox and Conor Sammon.
The squad will assemble this evening ahead of the week’s first training session in Malahide tomorrow morning.
