Eddie O'Sullivan is worried about what what Munster's 37 - 13 defeat to Cardiff Blues on Friday night.
With what O'Sullivan felt was a decent Munster side, the men in red were unable to grind out a performance against the Welsh side. It is their performance, rather than the result, that concerns him most.
"The thing that worried me about Munster the other night - if you go back to when Leinster played Cardiff, Leinster were able to up the tempo of the game, and go very direct and physical with Cardiff and see them off - by the skin of their teeth.
"Munster never looked like doing that on Friday night - it just never looked like it was going to happen. And you wonder: who is going to change that? Who is going to come into the pack and suddenly up it? I don't see it.
"Leinster are able to do that - they can beat you up whatever way that they want. I just think that the old Munster would have been able to batten down the hatches and get a result there. They would have ground it out.
"They actually looked worse at the end of the game than at the start, and that is a worry. They could bounce back, but it is a bit to go.
"Let's see next weekend - next weekend will tell a tale. I agree that they will probably beat Ulster, but how will they play? If they have to go to Dublin and get a result, then they really have to get their act together in the next two weeks or they go into the European games worried about what might happen, and that wasn't in the plan at the start of the season."
