Fulham are out of the Premier League's relegation zone following a 2-0 win at home to West Brom.

Bobby Reid and summer signing Ola Aina scored the first-half goals within four minutes of one another to give Scott Parker's side a first victory of the season.

West Brom produced the first real chance of the game at Craven Cottage when after some neat passing down the left, full-back Conor Townsend clipped the Fulham bar with a long-range effort.

But the hosts took the lead on 26-minutes after Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa won a stray goal-kick from Sam Johnstone in midfield. Aleksandar Mitrović headed an Antonee Robinson cross back across goal for Bobby Reid to nod home.

Four minutes later it was 2-0. Aina rifled home, left-footed from just outside the box after some nice passing between Reid and Mitrovic.

West Brom should have gone in just a goal down, but Karlan Ahearne-Grant fired wide when it appeared much easier to score.

Republic of Ireland striker Callum Robinson was sent on as Slaven Bilic attempted to gain something from the game.

But they were confined to half-chances and snap-shots as Fulham put in their most complete performance of the season to date.

As West Brom await their first win of the season, they drop into the bottom three.

Parker admitted to being relieved by the win, "We sat on one point after seven games, not won a game, so of course there's a relief amongst the team and amongst the players.

"I think I've said it many a time this year - we've won the game tonight - along the journey we're going to have this year, there's going to be many bumps.

"The processes [that] are in place, in terms of coming onto the training field, keep learning from our errors - which we're going to make, coz that's where we are this year - but good group, [that] come in every day in training, working hard, understanding where we are and where we need to keep improving.

"And that's going to be the same moving forward. There's going to be many more bumps for us this year, as long we adopt an attitude which is one of wanting to improve, wanting to get better, I've no doubt we'll be ok."
