James O'Connor's playing future is very much up in the air after he was released from his Australian Rugby Union contract with immediate effect. The 23 year old was dropped by Wallabies head coach Ewen McKenzie after another investigation into off-field behaviour. To make matters worse for O'Connor he was also told by the Western Force to take a break from the sport. The Force were the only Australian side interested in signing him after he was released by the Melbourne Rebels earlier this year. " The ...Western Force has encouraged Wallabies winger James O’Connor to take time away from rugby to consider his playing future," the Perth-based franchise said in a statement.
