It seems fitting that on the day the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) celebrates it's 125th anniversary, two of it's finest sons pit their wits against each other in the Premier League.

The pair fell out spectacularly at Ajax in 2004 where then manager Koeman helped to oust technical director van Gaal after their relationship deteriorated badly.
The United boss refused to comment on the feud, preferring instead to praise Koeman's work with the Saints
Koeman was also reluctant to dredge up their long-running feud
Van Gaal did get a little tetchy when the issue of Radamel Falcao's possible frustration was raised.
The United striker has had to make do with two sub appearances since recovering from a calf injury
Koeman also has striker issues and was quizzed on Graziano Pelle's six-game drought after his excellent start to the season
The United gaffer also admitted that his team are facing genuine contenders for a Champions League spot in Southampton
