Manchester United welcomed back Rio Ferdinand, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans to training today ahead of tomorrow evening's Champions League quarter final first leg at home to Bayern Munich.
The timing couldn't have been better as the reigning Premier League champions could be without both first choice full backs.
Patrice Evra is suspended, while Rafael picked up a thigh strain against Aston Villa last weekend. Alex Buttner is expected to start at left back, while Phil Jones or Chris Smalling may step in at right back.
