Angel Di Maria looks set to move to Manchester United in a whopping 80million Euro transfer.
The Argentine has made it clear to the Real Madrid hierarchy in recent weeks that he’s eyeing a move away from the Bernabeu.
He has told them he wants to leave, and has rejected a new contract from the club.
It comes as Di Maria’s place in the first eleven at Real is under threat from the summer signing of James Rodriguez.
It's thought the Argentine will fly to Manchester this afternoon ahead of the proposed transfer, with a medical taking place over the next 24 hours.
The deal could be completed by tomorrow for a fee of around 80 million Euro.
United are eyeing reinforcements to their squad after a poor start to the season which has seen them claim just one point from their opening two league games under Louis van Gaal.
United finished 7th last season after a disastrous campaign which saw new manager David Moyes sacked.
