Sergiu Ciobanu of the Clonliffe Harriers finished in fifth place and was crowned Irish champion.
It was a double success for Kenya as Esther Macharia won the ladies race in 2 hours 34 minutes and 15 seconds.
Irish Olympian Maria Mccambridge, who was the reigning omens champion, finished in second place, just three seconds behind Macharia.
Patrick Monaghan from Naas won the wheelchair section in a record time.
