Tony Pulis has left his post as manager of Crystal Palace by mutual consent.
The shock move comes as Palace prepare for their Premier League opener tomorrow, away to Arsenal.
It's reported Pulis was unhappy about the transfer policy at the club and his influence on transfer decisions.
He had only been in the job since last November, but he took Palace to a best ever Premier League finish of 11th-place, having taken over when they were deep in the relegation zone.
He was named the Premier League's Manager of the Year because of his success at Palace.
Malky Mackay, Neil Lennon and David Moyes are among the early favourites for the post.
