Thomas Bjorn has been confirmed as Team Europe’s Ryder Cup captain for 2018.
The Dane will lead the team, as they try to regain the trophy from the USA in Paris, between September 28th and 30th.
He will be the first Scandinavian captain of the team.

Bjorn has played in the event three times- with Team Europe winning on each occasion.
He has also served as a vice captain on four occasions, most recently under Darren Clarke earlier this year.
Clarke was a part of the five-man selection panel- to pick the captain, alongside the other two most recent skippers–Paul McGinley and José María Olazábal, as well as the Chief Executive of the European Tour, Keith Pelley and European Tour Tournament Committee member Henrik Stenson.
