Alan Brogan bid adieu to the Boys in Blue last December after an incredible career representing Dublin at senior level for 14 years.

His club St Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh held a retirement party for him last weekend where attendees were treated to a video of Brogan's highlights that was produced by clubmate Seaghan Kearney.

Unfortunately the video is now password protected but this reporter had a gander before it was removed from the public eye!

Just moments into the 30 minute short film there is footage of a baby faced Brogan in action with the Dublin minors and surprisingly...wearing the number 5!

Good friend and former Dublin team mate Barry Cahill confirmed on 98FM's Dublin GAA podcast 'On The Hill' that Brogan was indeed a wing back.

Even more interesting is the story of how he became one of the deadliest forwards in the country

You can listen to the full episode of 'On The Hill' here on the podcast section on the 98FM website.

Or you can download it here on iTunes.

The lads also discuss the upturn in fortunes for the Dublin hurlers, the footballers clash with Monaghan and Dubs defender and Fingallians clubwoman Fiona Hudson discusses some of the issues faced by female players.
