Diarmuid Connolly has refuted suggestions he could play with the Dublin hurlers in 2018.
Pat Gilroy was named the new Dublin hurling manager last week, with much speculation about which players will rejoin the panel, after a disappointing 2017 under Ger Cunningham.
There were rumours abound that two-time All-Star Connolly may quit the Dublin football camp and join up with his St Vincent’s clubmate Gilroy next year.
But speaking to Eir Sport yesterday ahead of St Vincent’s Dublin Senior Football Championship semi final against St Judes, Connolly put those rumours to bed:
