Tottenham have issued a statement to deny they've been in contact with any club about the managers job. Dutch side Ajax say Spurs have spoken to them about the availability of boss Frank de Boer. Spurs deny that, calling the reports "wholly inaccurate". Tim Sherwood is currently in charge of Spurs but he's expected to be replaced in the summer.
De Boer himself has said he is open to speaking with Tottenham in the coming weeks about taking over as manager. But after De Boer was widely linked with a switch to north London, Tottenham said in a statement on their website:
" Reports that we have made approaches to other clubs regarding coaching staff are wholly inaccurate. We have not contacted any club regarding coaching appointments. "
