Tottenham's busy deadline day continued with the twin signings from Juventus of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.

Bentancur's move is a permanent one, and he's signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Premier League club.

Swedish winger Kulusevski joins on loan for a season and a half, with a view to making his deal permanent in the summer.

Their arrivals stem the flow of outgoings at Spurs on deadline day. Dele Alli is moving to Everton in a deal worth an initial £10million (€12m), while fellow problem child Tanguy Ndombele has joined Lyon on loan until the end of the season.

Out of favour winger Bryan Gil will complete a loan move of his own - to Valencia - before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

Bentancur has spent the past four-and-a-half years at Juve, and will cost Spurs an initial €19million. That could rise by a further €6million if certain conditions are met.

The midfielder will link up with his new Spurs teammates following Uruguay's World Cup qualifier with Venezuela on Tuesday.

Juventus have confirmed the loan fee for Swedish winger Kulusevski totals €10million. €3million of that will be for the remainder of this season, with an additional €7million for the 2022-23 campaign.

Kulusevski has started eleven games for the Bianconeri this season, with his only goal coming in a recent 4-3 win over Jose Mourinho's Roma.
