Shane Lowry has finished day one of the Nordea Masters on two under par.
The Offaly native came into this tournament in fine form, having just been pipped to the Players Championship last weekend, and then to qualify for the US Open.
Two bogeys meant that Lowry was on one over at the half way point of the round, but fine birdies on the 14th and 15th holes ensured that he would end the day in the red.
Six under is the leading groups current score, which is certainly a score Lowry will believe he can cut into tomorrow.
