A rare Roberto Soldado strike has helped Spurs win all three Premier League points against Everton this afternoon.

The Londoners had to fight back after Toffees' midfielder Kevin Mirallas put his side in front in the 15th minute.

Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen drew the sides level 6 minutes later.

The win was wrapped up before the break at White Hart Lane as Soldado's first league goal of the season proved to be the last of the match.

Spurs join arch-rivals Arsenal on 20 points but have a weaker goal difference so lie in 7th place.

Irish full back Seamus Coleman started while Aiden McGeady came off the bench for Everton who drop to 10th spot in the league.
