Sligo Rovers' under-19s manager Brian Dorrian will step into the role of interim senior manager.
The Bit O' Red have confirmed that he will replace Gerard Lyttle whose contract has not been renewed as the club announced last night. Lyttle had been in charge of the Bit O' Red since 2017.
Sligo Rovers are currently eighth in the 10-team SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, 11 points clear of ninth placed Limerick.
