Six Dublin players have been named in this year's GAA/GPA All Star football Team, which has been announced this morning.

Jonny Cooper and Dean Rock pick up their first awards.

While Philly McMahon, Brian Fenton, Diarmuid Connolly and Ciaran Kilkenny all win their second awards.

Kevin McManamon and Cian O'Sullivan are unlucky to miss out- as is captain Stephen Cluxton.

The goalkeeper All-Star goes to Mayo's David Clarke, who was famously dropped for the All-Ireland final replay.

Dublin's six awards is one down on 2015's seven awards- despite going unbeaten in the League and Championship all year.

Mayo have four players on the team altogether, with Tyrone having two and Kerry, Tipperary and Donegal all have one each.

The hurling All-Stars, as well as the Players of the Year, are announced at the All-Star banquet tomorrow at the Convention Centre in the city.

Brian Fenton and Ciaran Kilkenny go up against Lee Keegan for the Footballer of the Year award.
