As Ireland prepares for its crucial World Cup qualifier against Serbia tomorrow, Irish striker and fan favourite Shane Long was given the important task on behalf of Three of giving #TheCallUp to eight-year-old super fan Chloe Brennan.
Chloe, a huge Shane Long fan thought she was just going for lunch with her parents like any other day, when she was left stunned when her all-time favourite player Shane Long surprised her with the youngster describing the experience as “the best day in my life”.
After the heart-warming surprise, Chloe asks the Irish star to sign her jersey and then quizzes him on his favourite team. Long reveals that Leeds United was the team he supported growing up.
Chloe will walk out alongside her hero as the official mascot for the Republic of Ireland Vs Serbia at the Aviva stadium @ 19.45pm this Tuesday.
