Shamrock Rovers have signed Scottish U21 International Cameron King until the end of the season.

Rovers currently sit 4th in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, eight points off the top 3.

Boss Stephen Bradley believes King has the ability to create chances for his squad, as they look to gain ground on Dery City, who lie in third “Cameron's definitely going to be an attacking threat for us. He’s very direct, very clever on the ball. He can play any attacking position, right, left or as a 10. I see him being a good player for us between now and the end of the season and making a real impact.”

King had plied his trade for Norwich City since the age of 8, winning the FA Youth Cup with the club in 2013. He parted ways with the Canaries in 2016, to return to his hometown club Thetford Town.

Stephen Bradley's latest signing was in Tallaght Stadium on Friday night, as Rovers beat Glenville in the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup.
