Derry dramatically beat Shamrock Rovers last night in their semi final replay at the Brandywell.
The Candystripes scored twice in the last four minutes to seal their passage into the decider.
Michael Duffy and Rory Patterson netted in the 2-0 win.
Rovers played for almost half an hour with 10 men, after Jason McGuinness was shown a red card in the 64th minute.
It will be the second time in three years that Pats will meet derry in the final.
The decider takes place at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, 2nd November.
